Review Comments:  This evening marked the final night of a 7 show run with Bob Weir and RatDog [live recordings of RatDog's shows are also available on www.munckmusic.com]. The band ran through a bunch of favorites, including a stellar "Jessica > JaBuMa > Jessica-reprise" that lasted nearly half an hour. History was made again, as virtually all the members of RatDog - including Bob Weir - joined the Allman Brothers Band on stage for a 15 minute jam version of "All Along The Watchtower" that almost foamed over with energy. Other sit-ins this evening were Jr. Mack, gtr. and Bob Katz, keys who joined the band on "Done Somebody Wrong". A great show in the "special collections" category!

Review Comments:  A ferocious rain storm hung over the Jones Beach Theater all day, but just as the band started to play, the rain subsided to a thin drizzle. There was nothing thin, or drizzly about the evening's ABB show, however. From the "Trouble No More" opener to the "Southbound" encore with John Hall(*) sitting in on guitar, the evening was an unforgettable experience, not the least of which was brought on by the awesome "Elizabeth Reed>JaBuMa>Elizabeth Reed" sandwitch. This night also saw some history in the making as Gregg Allman sat in with Bob Weir and Ratdog earlier in the evening.
