Today, the band has announced a subscription series for the four Dave’s Picks installments they plan to release in 2013 and as part of that announcement have revealed that the Grateful Dead show from Pauley Pavilion on the campus of UCLA in Los Angeles, California on November 17th, 1973 has been selected as Dave’s Picks Vol. 5."by Scott Bernstein on October,26th,2012.
We better do our job and share this excellent performance to the world before Pauley Pavillion also becomes commercial.
By the way, this is a beautiful 1973 recording. Grateful Dead at their best. Playing is fantastic and the show includes a “Playing In The Band -> Uncle John’s Band -> Morning Dew -> Uncle John’s Band -> Playing In The Band” sandwich. Not the only highlight...
