LEFTOVER SALMON : LIVE - 7/01/1998
Remember this one? I believe it was supposed to be Leftover Salmon, moe. & Widespread Panic playing this night at Riverbend. However, God intervened and washed out the pavilion, thus canceling the show. Then Dan intervened, called up Vince, booked Leftover at Ripley's and word spread via frantic phone calls. That's right, kids, phone calls. See, this was before your fancy Facespace and texting.
A very energetic crowd descended upon Ripley's this night and an incredible time was had by all. I have a strange memory of Dan making all the guys up front take their shirts off. Was it real or was it fantasy?
