Flying Colors–the new project featuring drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold, Adrenaline Mob) and guitarist Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs)–have revealed details of their upcoming debut album. The self-titled record, which was produced by Peter Collins (Rush, Queensrÿche), will be available on March 27. The band also features keyboardist Neal Morse (Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard), bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs), and vocalist Casey McPherson (Alpha Rev, Endochine).
