Grateful Dead
1973-11-20
Denver Coliseum
Denver,CO
The little brother of the Nov.21st show, which has been released as Road Trips 4 Vol.3.
Wall of sound show!
And a terrific "The Other One/Mind Left Body Jam".
"I highly recommend adding this show to your 1973 GRATEFUL DEAD collection.
Well produced and rehearsed the GRATEFUL DEAD set out to conquer their destiny as economic and musical plutocrats. There was no looking back, the "Future" called. Bigger was better, it was the way it was back then. Now it's all in the past. Over in the wink of an eye.
"Time" is the most precious thing in the universe; no matter how much money you have, you cannot buy back one single second of it. But you can record a show and keep it for future generations.
The GRATEFUL DEAD keep the groove in the pocket during this show, Denver got lucky.
I wonder why no other country has ever produced a band like the GRATEFUL DEAD? Who else but the U.S.A. would give people like the GRATEFUL DEAD the freedom to be themselves?"by oh uh um ah at archive.org
