Toy - The Album

Toy is the working title for Bowie's album consisting of remakes of some of his lesser-known "60's songs" along with two or three new songs written in the same style. Work has been completed on the recording of the songs, with mixing expected to be finished by mid-late November. It is expected to be released around March or April 2001.

Songs

The following information is taken from sources such as BowieNet and Mark Plati and is subject to modification.

There are expected to be twelve, possibly 13 tracks for the new album. Of these, ten are said to be remade songs from the 60's, while three are new compositions. Among the new compositions are songs called Afraid, Uncle Floyd and a currently untitled piece.

ELVIN BISHOP / LIVE FROM KSAN

ELVIN BISHOP - RAISIN' HELL REVUE

Elvin Bishop is set to release the Raisin' Hell Revue live album on May 17. Recorded during t
he 2010 Legendary Blues Cruise, the album features blues veteran Finis Tasby (Lowell Fulson, Freddie King, Clarence Carter, Z.Z. Hill), fast-rising harmonica man John Németh (Anson Funderburgh, Junior Watson), Norwegian blues guitar star Chris (Kid) Anderson (Charlie Musselwhite's band), and Bishop's long-time band-mate and Bay Area legend, saxophonist Terry Hanck. And it really is a "revue" in the classic sense of the term - various band members representing a wide array of styles move in and out of the spotlight, including swinging up-tempo R&B, lowdown blues, rootsy rock ’n’ roll, and a touch of gospel; even a reworking of Bishop's smash hit "Fooled Around and Fell in Love". - jambase.com
