THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND-
Saratoga Perfoming Arts Center,
Saratoga Springs, New York
8/13/2006
Check out Warren’s soulful delivery of The Band’s classic "The Weight," and Derek’s tasty slide licks that recall Duane’s work on the Aretha Franklin version. Another highlight is "Elizabeth Reed," performed a la Fillmore East, with no extended drum solo. Tight, concise and powerful!
