This one was re-edited two times (wasn't satisfied with the results), hope I got it finally right.
Huge thanks to mr. analog for taping the show and sharing the master. Thanks!

"This recording is absolutely sick and borderline ridiculous in terms quality for an audience.
If you want to hear power captured via digital audie, this is the tape for you.
Not sure we could do as well today for some reason and why is that?
One trainspotter moment I have called out before from the show is beautifully captured on this tape in the
first minute or so of "Born in the U.S.A." As some of you might know, for this tour Max Weinberg switched
from miking his drums to using drum triggers to fatten the sound. The drum trigger hits a sampler which plays
commanding "whoomp" sound. When Bruce starts BITUSA in Chicago, Max comes in with those single snare beats,
only someone forgot to turn on the drum sampler/triggers.
So for the first few bars its like "tick," "tick," "tick" as we only here the miked drum,
then someone throws the switch and it's "kaboom," "kaboom," "kaboom." The difference is incredible and you'll hear it here."
-'Butterking'
"This was also my first Springsteen show (although my Dad's secretary wanted to take me to see him on The River tour--
folks said NO--I was only 10). I was playing high school football and had to run the mile for time.
I was running every day and I HATE running. The Sunday before the show, I was laying in bed listening to WCKG
(they USED to play music back then) trying to avoid getting out of bed to go running.
They announced that they were going to be giving away tickets to the show, so I figured that was an excuse to stay
in bed a little longer. I never actually thought that I would win. When the time came, I called and actually won.
I called my sister, who was working at a drugstore and asked her if she wanted to go. She didn't believe me.
When I finally convinced her that I was serious, she dropped the phone and screamed.
This actually got me out of a HUGE jam with my sister, as she had graduated high school that summer and I never
got her a gift, and her birthday was between the Sunday I won the tickets and the day of the show.
We went to the show with a friend of hers, his boyfriend, and a friend of hers (who I happened to be playing football with).
We got there at 10am (general admission seating) and ran into some friends that had been there since 7am.
We hopped in line with them and waited. When they finally let people in,
we ran (which sucked for me as I had a micro-cassette recorder in my shoe).
I taped the show from about 10 rows of bodies back, but all you can hear is Herman (the guy I played football with)
screaming "BORN IN THE USA" for 3 hours with Springsteen in the background. So this is a huge upgrade for me.
It was hotter than hell that day and there was 1" thick black rubber matting covering the playing field.
We kept going and soaking under the showers that the players use on the sidelines.
Someone near us had a bag of chocolate chips that get spilled and melted on the matting.
By the time we got home, we looked like we had spent 3 months in the same clothes in Beirut.
By the way, the show was SMOKING!!" - 'toadhead'

Some people say that this a good audience recording and remasterd. Can you tell. Listen, do you think this is an audience recording?
This recording was diginally remastered with good eqiptment. Like they ever needed to remaster it in the first place.

JIMMY THACKERY & Tom Principato - The Assassins - No Previous Record
The Assassins - No Previous Record
Jimmy Thackery & Tom Principato
Studio Recordings @224
Out of Print
Tom Principato has done brief stints with various acts including Billy Price And The Keystone Rhythm Band, Big Mama Thornton, Sunnyland Slim, James Montgomery, and The Assassins with Jimmy Thackery, former guiatrist with The Nighthawks. Tom Principoto appears on two albums with the Assassins, "No Previous Record" (1986) and "Partners In Crime" (1987) which won a "Wammy Award".
Jimmy Thackery became widely known as the innovative guitarist with the Nighthawks, one of the hardest-working and most popular blues bands of the '70's and '80's. Starting in 1974, the group recorded over twenty albums and constantly toured the U.S., Europe, Canada and Japan. Jimmy was the heart, soul, and adrenaline of the Nighthawks sound during his fourteen year tenure with the Washington, D.C.-based band, creating a distinctively raw, powerful guitar style and establishing a reputation as a spectacular soloist.

Notes: The Fort Worth recording from July 18th is the best sounding recording from The Rolling Stones’ legendary 1978 Some Girls tour. It was previously released on Handsome Girls on The Swingin’ Pig (TSP-CD-200-4), Handsome Girls on Dandelion (DL 030/031/032/033) and reprinted on Out On Bail on Vinyl Gang (VGP-278), Cowgirl Barbeque, Gorgeous Girls Redux on Sister Morphine (Morph 024), and From Lakeland To Oakland (RED 006/007). Last year it was included on the excellent four disc set Handsome Girls: Definitive Version on Devil Productions. Now Halcyon has issued No Flash No Gimmicks. This label by the Empress Valley people has an impressive track record in improving already great tapes and this title isn’t a disappointment. Last year’s Devil Productions was great, but this one is dramatically better. The stereo separation sounds wider, louder, clearer and generally livelier. Balance between the vocals, instruments and audience is close to perfect and the music seems to leap out of the speakers and pummel the listener that is rare even for an official release much less an underground recording like this. The recording is so vivid and clear it is easy to see Mick dancing around and Keith slashing the strings on the guitar.
But No Flash No Gimmicks is such a dramatic improvement over previous releases it is hard to expect any improvements in the future. Like all other Halcyon releases the inserts are printed on very thick glossy paper with the star holograms implanted in the mix. The cover has the close up picture of Keith and a dramatic live shot in the inside. It can confidently be said that Halcyon have released the final word on the Fort Worth tape.

Jammin....got your wish, huh? This is a good show. An excellent show by '09 standards. The 2nd set is as good as anything they did in '12. Like many shows from this period, it is very ragged in s MORE>

DEVO - Hardcore
Devo – Hardcore (2013)
HardcoreMore than 20 years ago, Devo collected a vast slew of mid-1970s demos and released them as the two-volume Hardcore series. Booji Boy is teaming up with the Superior Viaduct boutique label to repackages the compilations Hardcore, Vol. 1 and Hardcore, Vol. 2 into one CD set.
The collections bring together a series of demos recorded in studios, basements and garages between 1974 and 1977, and the early recordings are described as featuring “rock’n'roll stripped bare of its collective cool and jerked back into propaganda fit for post-modern man.”
The first volume includes early takes of later classics “Jocko Homo,” “Mongoloid,” and their mechanically sexual cover of the Stones’ “Satisfaction,” along with rarities like “Uglatto.”
The second volume digs even deeper into the vaults and features raw performances of bubblegum-goof “Goo Goo Itch,” the decrepit and detuned swamp-blues of “All Of Us,” and more. The tweaked-up set also includes four previously unreleased rarities: “Man from the Past,” “Doghouse Doghouse,” “Hubert House” and “Shimmy Shake.”

A pretty good show but nothing compared to the standards Zeppelin had set in the past. The first 45 minutes or so sound good and strong, and Ten Years Gone is very pretty, but towards the middle section, the individual performances, though good, don't quite gel into a good ensemble performance. "Well, it's nice to see you again" said Plant to the audience at the beginning of the show, in fact they not played in the United Kingdom for the last four years! The crowd roared. Achilles Last Stand is aggressive and In The Evening is intense, but Stairway To Heaven sounds timid and tired ... Robert's introduction is so lackluster it is obvious he didn't want to play it. The encores are energetic and good, and Whole Lotta Love features the new arrangement first tried in Copenhagen in July. A short Heartbreaker finishes the event. After the last note, Plant said: "All you people that have come so far. It's been kinda like a blind date. Thanks for eleven years!"
Following a four year absence, Led Zeppelin make their triumphant return to England with two of the biggest shows of their career. However, despite two successful warm-up gigs in Denmark two weeks earlier, the band is still nervous to be performing for their home crowd after such a long break. The apprehension is evident as The Song Remains the Same gets underway. Page has lost the fluency of his Denmark performances, causing him to stumble a bit during the sticky-fingered guitar solos and Plant's voice is a little rusty at times. On the other hand, Bonzo is a thunderous explosion of energy, his powerful hammering is the backbone of the band. Following a high-speed Celebration Day, Plant greets the massive crowd, joking "I told Pagey that one or two people would be here, but he said he doubted it very much." Page's fingers get stuck in the strings during the guitar solo in Black Dog. Plant unleashes some spine-chilling shrieks during the initial verses. The band hammers through an abrasive Misty Mountain Hop.
Since I've Been Loving You is absolutely fantastic. Page leads the band on an intense emotional journey, tearing each note of the guitar solo from the depths of his soul. A phenomenal performance, one of the best in recent memory. Jones is introduced as "the man from Casablanca" before No Quarter. Page is on fire as he blazes through an excellent guitar solo, shredding furiously during the blistering outro jam. An outstanding performance. Plant shouts "come on, let's hoedown!" at the beginning of Hot Dog. The Rain Song is beautiful. The crowd erupts as a powerful Kashmir launches into motion. Plant's howls echo over the field and into infinity as the band thunders through the intimidating march. Page shreds wildly through the guitar solo during an incredibly aggressive Trampled Underfoot. The band hammers through a brutal Sick Again, introduced as a song that "relates the experience of the lobby and going down to get some cigarettes at ten thirty, rather than bein' in bed." Page tears through a frenzied guitar solo near the end of the song. Afterward, Plant jokes "so we got the cigarettes and carried straight on up to bed."
Bonzo thrashes wildly at his drums during an explosive Achilles Last Stand. Plant dedicates Stairway to Heaven to the crowd, thanking them for coming "on a blind date." Page blazes through a blistering guitar solo. The crowd sings the final line along with Plant. The first encore is preceded by ten solid minutes of cheering. As the band returns to the stage following a riotous Rock and Roll, Plant leads the crowd in a sing-along of You'll Never Walk Alone. The new arrangement of Whole Lotta Love is devastatingly heavy. As the song ends, Plant announces "thanks for eleven years." The band returns to the stage one more time to close the show with the first appearance of Heartbreaker since 6/21/1977. Page shreds wildly though the guitar solos. The crowd is left begging for more as the band leaves the stage for the final time.

problems corrected:
d3t05 was missing the last 40 seconds or so I crossfaded it with the
circulating AUD from 0:08:40:26 to 0:09:19:03. Thanks Tommmy.
d3t06 had a bunch of Pops and Crackles toward the end. I fixed these
by cutting out the problems and pasting in the other channel.
Tape flip in drums. This was originally tracked on 2 tracks. The
first faded out and then the second began. I reattached them as
seemless as possible. The AUD was also missing this bit.
Drums and Space are seemless.
The last few seconds on the Sugar Magnolia track (during the Audience)
fades out. So the Encore starts abruptly. http://fp.io/987f597f/
